Volusia teenager dies after gunshot wound to neck, deputies say
An autopsy is prepared for Monday after a 14-calendar year-outdated boy in Oak Hill died of a gunshot wound to his neck more than the weekend, according to the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to the 200 block of Wooden Avenue at about 7:30 Saturday night time and discovered Ernesto Sierra-Plummer experienced been shot, sheriff’s spokesman Andrew Gant stated. Sierra-Plummer died at Florida Hospital New Smyrna at 8:44 p.m., Gant stated.
Family of Sierra-Plummer ended up in the dwelling at the time of the capturing, but they did not see it, Gant stated.
