Norfolk Sheriff: Failure to obey policy failed to lead to teen’s loss of life
NORFOLK, Va. (AP) — A sheriff suggests the failure of Virginia deputies to comply with regular procedures and treatments did not induce the loss of life of a teenager who killed himself in a court docket developing.
Norfolk Sheriff’s Business spokeswoman Karen Pinkston tells The Virginian-Pilot an internal investigation into 17-12 months-old Katrell Jaymar Washington’s loss of life uncovered deputies did not comply with needed tactics but did not influence Washington.
