Teen killed in collision with semi on southern Manitoba provincial highway – Manitoba
A teenage female is useless immediately after a crash just outside the house of Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes, Male., Friday evening.
Manitou and Treherne RCMP had been known as to the two-car or truck crash on Provincial Road 244, approximately two kilometres south of Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes, just prior to 10 p.m.
Law enforcement say a southbound car or truck being pushed by a 17-year-outdated female from the RM of Lorne crossed over the centre line and hit a northbound semi-trailer being pushed by a 42-year-outdated male from Carman. The force of the crash pushed both the automobile and the semi-trailer into the ditch, say RCMP.
The 17-year-outdated female was pronounced useless at the scene.
The driver of the semi-trailer and his 46-year-outdated female passenger had been not harm.
Law enforcement continue on to examine, but say alcoholic beverages and velocity had been not components in the crash.
Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes is 109 kilometres southwest of Winnipeg.
