Coroner identifies teen located shot to loss of life alongside Greenville road
The coroner has discovered a teen whose overall body was located alongside a Greenville road early Wednesday early morning.
Coroner Parks Evans explained Tamyah Malichi Harris, 17, died of a gunshot wound to the upper body.
Sgt. Ryan Flood explained the overall body, afterwards discovered as Harris, was located lying in a ditch just prior to 3 a.m. around the intersection of Hudson and Church streets, just north of Kerns Avenue.
Harris was pronounced lifeless at the scene, in accordance to Greenville County Senior Deputy Coroner Jeff Fowler.
Even though Harris’ overall body was located at that place, Fowler explained the place of his personal injury and loss of life are not nonetheless acknowledged, nor is it distinct when he was killed.
An autopsy is planned afterwards in the day, Fowler explained.
