Firefighter billed with killing pregnant teenager in DUI crash
CEDAR HILL, Texas – A Dallas firefighter is billed with intoxication manslaughter right after a crash that killed a pregnant teenager and her unborn baby, studies CBS DFW. According the station, an arrest warrant for Horace Shaw III particulars what witnesses noticed before and right after the incident in the early early morning hrs of December 13.
Witnesses say they noticed a white Mercedes Benz traveling at what appeared to be extra than 100 mph. Two people have been inside the automobile, a passenger and Shaw, a firefighter who was off-responsibility at the time.
Witnesses say the automobile crested a hill and crashed into a Mazda SUV carrying pregnant teenager Alyssa Pimental and passenger Isaiah Perez, both of whom have been thrown from the auto.
At the very least two people instructed investigators that Shaw appeared intoxicated and “was not ready to walk straight” right after the crash, according to the station. Officers later on uncovered a steel flask, that they say smelled of alcohol, in the automobile he was driving.
